Kiss Slavery Goodbye with Radiant Cosmetics
Filed under Organizations & Causes Your World on Jan 07 13 by Lauren D'AlessandroWith an estimated 27 million girls enslaved across the globe, human trafficking is a huge problem right now. Movies such as Taken can make it seem like this is only happening in other countries, but this terrible form of slavery is happening all over America—between 100,000 and 300,000 underage girls are being trafficked for sex right in the United States (source).
Fortunately, there’s something YOU can do to help! In honor of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Radiant Cosmetics is introducing their Kiss Slavery Goodbye campaign. For every lipstick sold in the month of January, Radiant will donate one lipstick to a current victim or survivor of human trafficking. And as always, a percentage of the profits goes directly toward funding efforts to put an end to human trafficking.
With Radiant Cosmetics, you can wear your makeup with confidence knowing that your money was well spent. Visit their site at www.radiantcosmetics.org, and learn more about their Kiss Slavery Goodbye campaign.
