Intern Style: 6 Ways to Wear a Striped Skirt

Doing an unpaid internship for nine months means that you have to get thrifty. For a girl like me who loves to shop, that can be tough! With spring and summer coming up, I’ve already started to feel that urge to shop for new, trendy clothing to give my wardrobe a seasonal overhaul. Unfortunately, that just isn’t economically wise for me right now. A great way to satisfy that urge is to buy one new item and remix it several times with pieces you already own.

A few weeks ago, I bought this high-waisted black and white striped skirt at Target, and I am already planning ways to mix it up when the sun comes out! Here are six ways to wear a striped skirt:

Most of these styles could also work with a midi or maxi skirt, as well as with other prints or colors! Buying just one new piece and diving into your own wardrobe to shop is a great way to get a new perspective and love for pieces you already own—and save some money at the same time.
