Hi, everyone! I am so excited to be able to share with you guys some adorable and easy ways to incorporate scarves into your everyday hair styles. Scarves can not only add a fun pop of color to any outfit, but they can actually be a practical way of covering up those annoying oily roots when you don’t have time to wash your hair in the morning. They also are great for covering up your hair while in the sun to prevent your hair color from fading. Scarves can make you look incredibly chic and put together at the office or school without much effort at all, and who doesn’t want that!? Think of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. All you need is a scarf and a pair of big sunglasses and you’re instantly glamorous! When finding scarves to add to your collection, I suggest checking out your local thrift stores and flea markets. You can find some really unique and beautiful silk scarves for really cheap. Because there are so many different sizes and types, I decided to show you how I style a small, medium, and larger sized scarf. It can be a bit of trial and error to learn what size works best for the look you are trying to achieve, so hopefully these pictures give you a bit of scarf-spiration!
I am 24 years old.
My career hairstylist.
My personal style is very girly and a little bit retro. I love dresses, quirky patterns, anything with a bow on it, winged eyeliner, and oversized sunglasses.
The best book I’ve read lately is The Maze Runner series. It’s seriously amazing. They’re the kind of books that you have to force yourself to put down because they’re so good. It’s a bit hard to describe the story without giving anything away, so I recommend checking them out!
The gutsiest thing I’ve ever done When I was 19, I moved from my home state of California to Washington to be closer to my high school sweetheart. As hard as it was to leave my family, my friends, and the sunshine, it was worth it because that boy is now my husband!
I feel most beautiful when I’m making others feel beautiful! There is no better feeling than the one I get when I help someone feel confident and happy about the way they look. I especially love doing bride’s hair/makeup. To make someone feel amazing on the best day of their life is the most rewarding and beautiful feeling in the world!
The passage of scripture that I live by is Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. I got this scripture reference tattooed on my wrist when I was 19. I have been living with anxiety issues for years, and this verse always reminds me to live only one day at a time, and that God has a perfect plan for everything despite my worrying. His timing is perfect, even when I don’t agree with it!
